Hockey Coaching Opportunities

 
Norfolk Hockey is seeking to appoint committed and enthusiastic Hockey coaches to join it’s growing team. We are looking for Lead Coaches that are, EHB Level 2 or 3 Qualified and who have had experience in leading high quality hockey practice sessions with Junior players and have knowledge of the Golden Thread and how it impacts practice session design. This is not essential, but would be an advantage. We are also looking to appoint Level 1 Coaches to work alongside our Lead Coaches as Assistants.
 
There is also an opportunity for Specialist GK coaches, Assistants & Volunteers, who would be able to Lead and organise the GK technical shaping sessions and integration within the specific age groups.  You must have attended the EHB Integrating GK’s workshop prior to the start date and had experience of GK coaching at a junior level.
 
If, however you do not currently hold a recognised qualification, but are working towards one, we would still like to hear from you. It is essential that All applicants hold an enhanced DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding and protecting children certificates prior to the start of the Academy Centre starting in September.

Talent Coaches Network

You are also invited to join our new Talent Coaches Network. This forum will be used as an area for us to share the latest information on working with talent. This could be website links, YouTube clips or articles to read or discuss. An informal network on which you can, if you want, ask questions, exchange ideas, arrange to meet or to observe each other, set up ‘buddy’ groups – it will be your forum so it will be whatever you want by way of an informal network. This forum will also be opportunity for you to inform us of any topics you would like to know more about or learn about. Hockey Development

DC / AC 2017-18

Norfolk Hockey run Summer Development Centres (DCs) and Academy Centres (AC) for the U13 to U17 age groups. The journey starts with players attending summer DCs, players are then invited to complete an appliaction form for the Norfolk Academy.
