NEW 2 DAY GOALKEEPER CAMP for PC, Academy and Development GKs. Led by Aurora Mears.
Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th April 
U12 - U18 
Aurora is an experienced coach and National League GK, presently at Wimbledon HC, and was in the GB development squad from 2016-18.
She runs her own GK coaching company The Goalie Guide​​

To Pay: Please either send a cheque payable to Norfolk Hockey Association to the above address or send payment via Paypal to youthdevelopment@norfolk-hockey.co.uk. You can pay for more than one player in one payment but remember to add all the players' names. Booking is confirmed on payment.

Further details will be sent out on receipt of your application and payment. Please note no refunds will be made within 7 days of the camp.  Outside this time limit, sessions may be changed at the administrator's discretion if alternative places are available.  Maximum numbers apply so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Details of the sessions have been populated to the Player Pathway profiles.
 
(These sessions will be subject to Covid safety restrictions imposed by EH following guidance from the government.)

EH Announce Player Pathway Activity Suspension.

Club and community hockey is to be suspended from 5th November until at least the 4th December. EH will be communicating with Player Pathway organisers in the coming days. We have currently completed all of our training sessions scheduled before Christmas and the dates of the remaining training sessions for 2021 will be added to player profiles this week. As soon as we have any additional details from EH, we will communicate to players vis the Player Pathway. Thank you again to all or players, coaches and parents that have supported our Development Centre and Academy Activity during this current cycle. We will be in touch soon. Stay safe everyone.

EH announce the move to Step-4 on the Getting Back on the Pitch roadmap.

Details of Step 4 were released yesterday evening (7th Aug. '20)  by England Hockey, these can be found on the COVID-19 club support page => [Step4]
 
All players taking part in the Development Center summer sessions will need to complete the [Participation Form] having read the [advice for participants]
 
If a player does not complete the form, they will not be permitted to participate in Step 4 hockey activity.

 Summer 2021 Activity 

 

Norfolk Hockey Summer Sessions are open to the following birth years;

2010 - U12
2009 - U13
2008 - U14
2007 - U15
2006 - U16
2005 - U17
  2004 - YR12
  2003 - YR13
 

 

The Summer Sessions are a great opportunity to have a fun day playing hockey while picking up the latest skills in this exciting Olympic sport and experiencing EH Player Pathway coaching. The sessions are aimed at players aged 11-18 years old (birthdates 2010 – 2003.) Players are welcome to attend as many camps as they like but those wishing to be considered for the Norfolk Hockey Centre (running from September) must attend a minimum of 2 Summer camps. 
 
 

NHA manages the Player Pathway in two sections in order to continue to provide the best support for our players, parents/carers and coaches.  The managers of both sections work closely together to ensure that the system offers the best experience for our players.
 
Glenn Moore (Norfolk Player Pathway Administrator) will take on the responsibility of managing the online system, payments and training/tournament information.
He will be the first point of contact for players, parents/carers and managers.

Hockey Development

DC / AC 2020-21

Norfolk Hockey run summer Development Centres (DC) and Academy Centres (AC) for the U12 to U17 age groups. The Player Pathway journey starts with players attending summer DCs, qualifying players are then invited to join the Norfolk Academy.
